The hands on event will be packed with playful activities, hands on workshops, and high-profile educators, providing a platform to explore game based learning in Higher Education.

Come out and play with #BeaconingEU at Coventry. Join us for a location based treasure hunt which is to be played simultaneously across 13 European Cities. Become a hero and save the environment! Work with others to discover clues and piece together the mystery.

Creative Cultures goes to Malaysia

CreativeCulture (NEWTON) aims to expand the programme to address educational challenges within the context of inclusive learning for learners from the rural parts of Malaysia Borneo. It will involve collaborations with Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS), where we will explore, exploit and experiment the impact of arts, design and culture in enhancing creative thinking and development in education (primary and secondary K12) through game design and computational thinking as an approach and instrument for fostering creative problem solving and transcultural practices in Malaysia.

Transport Research Workshop

Game Changers Showcase

The Game Changers showcase is an opportunity to share game based practice around the University. A number of sessions will be available to promote best practice around game based and playful learning. The day is an excellent opportunity for those interested in using games in Higher Education to network with likeminded individuals, develop ideas, and share their experiences.
